Between her shoulder blades, something pushed against her spine, thrusting her breasts forward. The cool air of the ship caressed her skin, raising goosebumps. She was gloriously exposed in ways that she never was on stage. On stage, she was in charge of what other people saw. Here she was open to Laqir. Here she was at his mercy. Heat ignited in her belly. “All right,” she said. Her breathing had become shallow and quick with excitement. “Here I am. How will this please a Kurazi male?” Somehow his eyes had grown wider and darker, and she realized that her very vulnerability had already turned him on. He drank her in with his gaze. “In Kurazi society, binding the female is part of the mating ritual. Successfully binding a Kurazi female is a feat of strength and skill. They do not go quietly. It is also essential to sexually arouse her, or there will be no mating.” He paused. “That you have already acquiesced to me by willingly binding yourself…” He took a breath, and she let her eyes drift down. His burgeoning erection was obvious in his body-hugging trousers. She remembered what it felt like in her hands and her mouth went dry.Laqir is dapper as fuck. He can abduct me any day.

“Tell me, Felicia,” he said. “Have you ever had a spanking before?” Oh god. “No,” I said. “Except when I was a really little kid. But my nanny stopped spanking me when I stopped responding to it.” “Oh?” he said. His fingers drifted over the crack of my ass, skating against the sensitive skin there, then going further down, until he was probing the hot delta at the apex of my thighs. Blood rushed to follow his touch, and I swayed on my feet, lightheaded. “I dare you to resist it now.” Dare? Dare was my last name, I was fond of saying. But I didn’t tell him that. I didn’t want to bait him. I wanted to fuck him. And if I had to go through a spanking to do it, well, that was fine. I could pretend to enjoy it. “Stay,” he commanded, and the warmth of his hand retreated, leaving me shivering in the cool air, my ass exposed like a full moon to the night. Suddenly I had a nervous thought: anyone could look out of the house, or any house on either side of us, and see me. The garden wasn’t exactly private. But then the sound of Anton dragging a heavy metal chair over the concrete captured my attention, and I forgot my compunctions. I heard him shift, his clothes moving against each other, and then I knew he was sitting down. “Felicia,” he said. “Come lie across my lap and recieve your punishment.” Continue reading
Saving Sins — OUT NOW!
OUT NOW!!
EXCERPT:
Together they mounted the steps, into the vestibule, and the snow followed them in flurries, melting in the warmer air. Once inside, Michael’s hand extended toward the holy water. Then he paused. Then, very slowly, he retreated. “Tara,” he said, “why did you decide to come back here?” And that was it. The big question. She could lie and say it was because she wanted to give back, could say it was because she felt indebted to him and wanted to help, could say she felt a tinge of that famous Catholic guilt for living while others fell. But she didn’t. “I wanted to see you,” she said. He turned and stared at her. “I wanted to see you as well,” he said. His brows furrowed, and he suddenly looked older, and sad, and tired. “Did you know that you are the only girl I have saved?” he asked. “Of all the women, in all my years… you are the only one.” She couldn’t speak. Didn’t even know what to say. That faith, the faith she was so sure had anchored him, no longer existed. She could feel him being swept out to sea. She wanted to save him. And then she didn’t know who moved first, only that one moment they stood apart in the vestibule, and the next she was in his arms and his lips were on hers and she was moaning, aching, writhing. Saving Sins. The story of a strung-out street kid and the priest who saved her. And the angsty sex they had years later.
…Like no, seriously. I hope you guys like some existential despair with your sex, because this story turned out to be mostly angst with unresolved sexual tension up until the point where it became very resolved. Will be out in the next few days. Have a teaser:
She didn’t want to see Father Michael all of a sudden. He had to care about her. It was his job. His calling. She didn’t want to be anyone’s job. Her mother had made it clear just how much of a problem she was. Slamming her hands into the glass door, she burst into the cold night. The air slapped her face, and she wanted to run and run and run. “Tara!” His voice behind her. She picked up her pace. She couldn’t catch her breath. She couldn’t see straight. They were in a weird part of town. She didn’t even know which way was home, or what home was, or if she wanted to go back to any home she had ever known. She just wanted to crawl under a rock and sleep away the fear. He caught up with her behind the restaurant, just before she managed to slip behind the broken fence and into the alleyway of some low-rent neighborhood. “Tara,” he said, and his hand landed on her shoulder. She whirled around. “What do you want?” she said. She meant it to come out defiant, but it just came out small and shattered. The moon was full above them, and the wind rustled in the branches of the trees in the alleyway behind them. The world was turning toward winter, and the leaves were falling. He was so beautiful in the moonlight. She wanted to throw herself into him, let him hold her up. She was tired, and tired of running. She wanted to worm her way into his clothes, draw strength from his warmth, fill herself up with him, feel alive, feel wanted, feel loved. He was full of love. But she didn’t know how to accept it. Like a vase, broken and badly repaired, she couldn’t hold what he wanted to give her, could only take what he couldn’t give. Her mother’s boyfriend had seen to that. “I’m sorry,” she said again. “So am I,” he said, and then he was reaching for her, his arms sliding around her shoulders… Continue reading

Will be up at Barnes and Noble soon!
It’s been a week since Maddy negotiated the merger between Chet and Sam, and neither of them have called–typical. Then a series of gifts show up on Maddy’s desk, each with a cryptic note inside. Was her fling with the two hot founders of her company a one-time thing, or could Sam and Chet possibly want more? This 12,000 word short story is a stand-alone sequel to Maddy Takes a Memo and Maddy Calls A Meeting and contains capitalism run amok, man-on-man action, a curvy heroine who knows exactly what she wants, and three-way to knock your socks off! EXCERPT: Next to her, Chet laughed. His voice, rich and deep, warmed her. “Sam was very worried he wouldn’t be good in bed,” he said. “Chet!” Sam sounded horrified. “What? She was going to find out at some point. That’s what a relationship is. Knowing all the dirty little secrets of your partner. Or partners.” He paused. “He is good in bed,” he conceded. “It just took a little practice.” “You dick!” Sam sounded apoplectic. Maddy reached out and put a hand on his knee. “Don’t worry,” she said. “I’m sure you are great in bed.” Sam looked pained. “Wouldn’t you know?” he said. “You’ve slept with me.” Maddy patted him. “There, there,” she said. Chet laughed. “Maddy, you really are a wrecking ball.” And then his hand was on her cheek, pulling her away from Sam and toward him. His face loomed, his icy blue eyes piercing hers. Waves of dizziness lapped at her as he drew closer and closer, and then his lips were on hers and the undertow reached out and grabbed her, pulling her under. Shivers raced over her skin where they touched, his mouth nibbling and tasting, hungry and seeking. Behind her, Sam’s hands went around her waist, kneading and massaging her hips as he leaned in and planted a kiss on her ear. Tremors of pleasure shimmied under her skin, and Maddy felt herself pulled further and futher under by the fantasy of the three of them. Could she really have it all? Could she risk her heart on two men, not just one? They wanted to try it. They wanted to be with her. But what if it didn’t work out? What kind of terrible fallout would knock her life off its course?…I have to admit, the fantasy of being in a relationship with two hot, rich guys is really tempting, but I’m guessing in the real world it’d be one of those things that just ends in tears. Too bad for all of us we’ll just have to drool over the Sam and Chet duos of the world from the safety of our armchairs… *sigh*
Back in the saddle again…
PSA: Plague Outbreak at the Casa de Lore
If you are waiting for a new release, please be patient! I have been very sick this month, and my child just came down with walking pneumonia. I’m afraid I won’t be able to get anything out until the 19th at the earliest. Bear with me! My priority is now the fifth installment of The Billionaire’s Wife and the third (and, for now, final) Maddy title, Maddy Shifts the Paradigm.
Apologies to everyone waiting for an update. Thank you for reading!
